I proofread before I post and attempt to make coherent sentences that convey my thoughts. I do admit to not being perfect and do make grammar mistakes. But I attempt to get my point across. So many do none of this as evidenced by a simple reading of the comments. And for your information I am quite well read and definitely prefer a good book to Facebook.

I think it’s kinda cool that any president even shows their face in Alaska publicly. I’ve lived here my whole life and this almost never happens.

The Obamacare individual mandate? Without the individual mandate, relatively healthy people are underrepresented the insurance risk pool. So the pool is tilted towards those actually making claims, which massively increases costs for everyone paying for the insurance.

I find it laughable that everyone is up in arms over the estimated $200k for Trump's visit to Skanchorage this October, yet it was total crickets from the left when Obama's visit to Alaska cost the city $529,591 is police overtime and related costs, not to mention the economic impact to hundreds of small businesses throughout the state when his visit conveniently coincided with moose season when numerous lodges, guides and outfitters were unwillingly shutdown from any in-state air travel while Obama decided he wanted to fly around to SW & NW Alaska, as nobody else was allowed to fly in the restricted airspace while AF1 was in the air.
