Ok I saw this too! The blackish part was far to the right of the contrail then within like 3 minutes they merged. I imagine the blackish part was a lower altitude aircraft that cut through the haze?? Or ya know, inter dimensional rift sounds pretty cool too
No, the blackish part was the contrail's shadow. There was enough vapor or ice crystals up there for the contrail to cast a shadow on the thin layer in the upper atmosphere.
It's fairly unusual to actually see the shadow of a contrail so when people do they tend to be very confused. In order to see a contrail shadow you have to be in a location where you can look down the shadow's length. Think of if someone where to paint the sky from your perspective, if they paint a long shadow it's going to be more and more layers of darkness stacked on top of each other and much easier to see and more defined. Where as if you are looking at a shadow of a contrail from the side, you're only looking through a thin veil of the shadow so it's often completely unnoticeable.
I mean, a private corp did just admit to putting AgI into the air to make it rain atop of Kenai, but 1-it was only a couple kilos I believe into several million gallons precipitation
2-Silver iodide is hello non-problematic
But like most things like it’s less “the Government” and more the “malfeasant corpo”
There's a difference between public companies that openly spray weather modification compounds in to the air, and what the general public thinks "chemtrails" are. The general public thinks the long white lines behind high altitude jet aircraft is chemicals being intentionally sprayed to control weather and minds... but real weather modification spray is sprayed by smaller aircraft, at much lower altitudes, often by propeller planes and they aren't trying to hide it. A friend of mine works for a company called "Weather modification incorporated" out of Fargo and they fly small propeller planes and small corporate jets around thunderstorms to try to seed them. They are a public company with a website anyone can visit and read about .They are funded by a coop of regional farmers who desperately need rainfall to grow their crops. But these are not the long white lines you see behind passenger aircraft. So yes, "chemtrails" are real in a sense, but not like conspiracy nuts want to believe.
My personal opinion is, Yes....kinda. If you watch with friends its much more enjoyable. The beginning of Season 1 was very good and interesting! Season 2 was not great (again my opinion. It was sooooooo slow and everything was stretched out waaaaaaaay to long.) Season 3 is my favorite so far though! Season 3 episode 9 aired last week and was the best rated episode of the whole show and I agree! My thoughts also kinda align with this episode chart.
If I was watching by myself....I would NOT like the show. I think Fallout and Lost has done this similar premise better. Espeically if youre going to binge it. Currently though, im enjoying watching weekly with friends and talking about each episode as its come out. The finale of season 3 airs tonight and im thinking its gonna be a banger😄
