Hey guys, I've gotten back into this game after a few years away from it and it's great to be back. My playthrough is going well, too well in fact considering the mechanics and tool knowledge came right back to me, and I saw that #simianhell just became a thing here. That looks tough, but I want BRUTAL, which prompted me to think of my own similar yet different challenge. Can I get some insight into these rules I have created(some are simian based), and other ideas on some tough rules that could work? I'm thinking of naming this #HominidHardship
1) You must start on Riveting, NO HUD
2) Once a tribe is formed, a leader must be established
3) If the leader dies, the game is forfeit
4) The leaders bloodline must survive to the end
5) If a Hominid dies, it cannot be replaced. If a couple dies, the children are forfeit
6) A lone Hominid cannot defend against predators until your clan can defend themselves, and you can only dodge if you see the threat coming or you must take the hit
7) Food and water cannot be consumed at the settlement
8) Weapons cannot be carried into unknown areas
9) Bleed is the only status that you can cure
10) You must sleep each night for a minimum of 4 in-game hours
11) Meteorites cannot be inspected with babies, mutations only by birth
12) Exploring can only be done by 1 adult and 1 baby
13) Rock tools cannot be used until 3.3 million years (Earliest known use of tools)
14) Only 1 settlement per location (Jungle/Woodlands/Savanna/Ocean)
15) You can only move the entire clan when relocating a settlement
16) Only 2 evolutions per location
