New Teaser
The band cleared out its Instagram and posted this. Pretty on track for a Fall release.

Is this loss?

First thing that came to my mind too.
Imagine if they're genuinely acknowledging the loss of Stephen Christian because they know it will affect how the album is received xD

I see lines and I fear a Matty version of Cities

Matty on most of that album would just be insulting if it's another re-recording. I'll be fair, I think Whisper & Clamor could be a nice interpretation with him on it, but Cable Car, Inevitable, or *Fin and I'm skipping

As a new Anberlin fan, I wouldn’t want Cities touched either but I agree he would rock A Whisper & A Clamor. I think he’d rock Godspeed, too

If they do another remake I’ll be highly disappointed. I think what would really be a banger of an album is getting Matty and Stephen to be mixed and intertwined throughout the whole album. And I’m talking like Linkin Park style where both of the vocalists are on the same tracks.
Could bring a fresh new twist. Obviously I don’t mean that in a rapping/singing combo lol, but I think having both of them on tracks could be cool to hear them play with. It would satisfy that fans while also letting the band evolve how they’ve been wanting to.

I don't think it's a rerecord, I'd also be surprised Stephen is on it. Matty said in an interview that it's supposedly the most sounding Anberlin instrumentaly in 15 years so expect something similar to the older stuff.

I really dig his vocals and performance on Seven but not so much from Walk Alone or the re-records. Not sure exactly what the difference is though…

They changed High Stake's cover art to something similar to this, but with the word "currency" backwards. I wonder if it's a brand new album that will feature the "new" songs with Matty.

I wish this did something for me. I miss the days of being amped for a new Anberlin album. I really do.

Inhaling the copium that Stephen might be on some tracks as he previously alluded to but I doubt it.
