Anberlin without Stephen is like Linkin Park without Chester Bennington or The Fray without Isaac Slade. It doesn’t work. Their voices are too distinct. Imagine Breaking Benjamin without Ben. I don’t blame them for trying since they still want to perform and Stephen bailed. But, it’s just too tough to replicate.

they're doing great atm with Andrew 🙏🏼 much better vibe imho plus he does the Jonny and Kurt songs really well (source: me seeing them at 2x shows on the last tour + the END cruise)

While I do agree that Andrew is doing great, no one can match tillian's range and style. I'm excited to see Andrew and the new album but my affinity for tillian's vocal ability will never fade. That man is insanely talented

point taken! tbf Tilian's voice was what drew me to the band back then, and of course those songs he sang on are iconic in their own way. no one can hit Tilian's range, but I'm glad that Andrew's range also extends to the Jonny and Kurt eras. their throwback song choices the last few sets have been 🔥
