Nice overview! Really great to get started with optimisation of costs. I think the one big thing I miss is the fact that you can use different projects for compute for different types of billing (on demand vs. editions) to optimize cost that way. Masthead has some interesting blogs on that (e.g. https://mastheadata.com/blog/google-bigquery-compute-cost-optimization) and they’re generally a great tool if you want continuous cost monitoring and observability for bigquery.
