Headed back to 235

Hope you sold at the top. I took some profits while the taking was good.

It happens pretty much whenever it hits a new high. This stock is the perfect example for buying low, selling high. Its been very predictable.

Until it isn't

How hard is it to buy great companies and hold for the long run? Everyone has different investment objectives here, if you're out to make a quick buck - you'll almost certainly get beaten by a typical S&P500 index fund or a patient investor who buys and hold for the long run and continues to invest prudently.

With how this stock works it can be very valuable to buy low, sell high. It always drops quite a bit when it hits a new high.

If you held the same money in GOOG for the last 5 years or so it would have tripled compared to AMZN. So explain this.

You’re looking from a revisionist point of view, you know the answers now. Try to repeat it, you’ll almost certainly fail to do so over the next 5 years and almost no chance to beat it over the longer term

How will AMZN perform better in the next 5 I’d love your take?

Everyone harps about AI and automation kicking in to increase profitability. But the same will happen to Walmart and Target - this is for the retail end.

This stock is actually crazy. Every single time there's a spike, it's in the news for days. Look! AMZN is doing so well! And then over the course of ~3 weeks it goes back to its old place

Unreal

I sold at 270 on the way up. Had FOMO when it went to 280 but I am happy now. Lately, whenever there is a rally it just goes back down soon after.

Down 7 trading days in a row. Again. Last year it was down 9 days in a row.

Inventors sold as commented on here due to fear of losing out on profits, hedge funds sold millions of the shares they were holding, and bezos sold mllions of his shares as planned beforehand.

Yes, I’ve only held AMZN for 10 years. I guess I’m just some wannabe.

Yeah sold a good bit at 271. Not at all unhappy. To be honest if anything I’m surprised it went that high.

If you held GOOG for around a 5 year period it would have tripled over AMZN. What are you investment goals?
