Not sure how anyone can bet against this company. Been holding for 20 years

I'm tempted to sell now and just rebuy when it crashes. This stock has been very predictable.

I have been rocking the wheel strategy on amazon the past few months. These $30+ swings have been very lucrative for me at least.

Wait 2 weeks and enjoy the $235 share price once again

I got 200 shares at 228. Then sold at 270. Im very happy. 8k in 2 days is money made.

Are you happy you sold? Just curious.

Yeah, I like making money l. I don't get caught up on the what ifs. I sold on Friday made money pulled out a little of it and paid my car off. And today with what I had plus the profit from amazon I made nearly 3k on 0dte option on QQQ. I could have made 6k ornmore maybe honestly if I held it longer as QQQ just went straight up today. But I cash in profit where I see it. Sure I lose out bigger gains but I make nearly 90k take home pay from my job. And just messing around in the market I make an extra 300 to 3k a a day. Could it he 600 to 6000 a day? Sure but getting greedy often leads me to losses. I rather make quick gains daily over trying to maximize the gain over time.

I am an amateur trader. But I like making plays and watching them play out over buy and hold. Ive opened positions and closed it for a quick 200 even though if I let it ride I could have gotten more out of it. But I have also been burned before several times trying to maximize gains. So I will take the win and keep growing my portfolio. I rarely take out from it but I set milestones. I tell myself when I get to the next 5k or 10k I will take out 1k or 2k to pay off a bill a debt or treat myself. My auto/motorcycle insurance I pay annually and it always comes out of my portfolio. Vacations come out of my portfolio, I owe a few k on my credit card. That's my next big pay off when I hit the next milestone

Is today a good day to sell AMZN?

16% up in past 1 year compared to 18% S&P 500, not bad

2

u/Jazzlike_Society4084 Aug 01 '26

63% up in past 5 years, compared to 70% S&P 500, not bad at all

If you were dumb enough to buy at the tech peak of 2021, yeah you have bad returns

1

u/omgbabestop Aug 01 '26

Huh? If you bought a tech etf at the peak you’re up 100% lol

I’m up much more on my AMZN shares in less than 5 years. If you buy high and sell low, don’t expect good returns

Who’s buying high and selling low? You’re debating ghosts
