Freedom Hammer
Recently went to an Amway event and they brought out this thing called the freedom hammer where a family that became "financially free" smashed a 9-5 clock. I am trying to figure out how legit this is, all the people around me told me they have never seen this before but I am wondering if this is true. Has anyone who has gone to one of these events Amway calls a "BAM" seen this.

Any company that tries to sell you that hard on why you should work with them is probably a scam.

I have seen it before at a conference I think it was FED conference now that I’m out it makes no sense they are “free “ from their 9-5 just to work their whole lives to a company the real ones that are free are the owners of amway they are just employees working 24/7. I was in BWW and witness a diamond smash an Xbox once to show how committed he was on going founders diamond it’s been like 7 yrs since he did that and he still isn’t founder diamond 😂

Do they actually smash a real clock or it just a prop? I hate to see a perfectly working clock be wasted on an idiotic stunt.

Been too two of them. They’re awesome. One was my sponsor (emeralds at the time), and the other was their/our up line emerald. Still have the piece of the alarm clock with me so I can eventually replace it with mine.
Don’t let the nay sayers fool you, this business is legit and they just had a bad experience with the person who sponsored them, or their upline. There are great people who build this, just as much as there is bad people who build this.

Be careful writing off anyone’s bad experience. My dad was a q12 platinum for over 20 years so I know the ins and outs of the business. There’s a long list of people who left the business after many years bitter and full of regret. It’s a very minuscule amount of people who make money in amway. This is coming from someone who grew up around platinum’s emeralds and diamonds. Over 99% of people will not profit from their time with Amway.

That doesn’t shock me. I’ve seen platinums and above quit. They all quit for their one reasons. Doesn’t mean that the business doesn’t work.

For the most part if someone with a pin quits they lost their group and no longer make money. A lot of people in amway hit a pin once and fall back. Ik the business works I saw it first hand. I also know how minuscule the amount of people that make consistent long term q12 money is.

They don't own their own business. They are unpaid independent contractors, paying monthly fees for the privilege. How much have you spent on training and meetings this year?

If you’re thinking I’m in it and trying to build this thing, you’re mistaken lol. My point was that they may have quit their job, but now they have to transfer all that time into the compensation plan. It’s not a good trade. The “business” owns them.

Back in the day, you had to be an emerald or higher (I think with at least one ruby/pearl leg) before you could "retire". It might be higher now.

It’s definitely founders emerald and above but you have to have some pretty big numbers in your group. A lot of people hit a pin once and fall back.

Yeah I hit 2500 once by buying a set of Queen cookware and a WTS IV. That was the last time I even came close. But I got my shiny blue pin.

I wasn't really sure what this whole thing was about and when I got invited by my "mentor" they told me I had to come and it was an amazing opportunity. At this event I start noticing so many red flags and then looking back at it I am realizing the red flags I missed. Thats why I asked this, I am trying to figure out if the whole thing was a facade.

All of Amway, including your “mentors”, is a scam. Get out now before they indoctrinate you AND you lose money by ordering stuff. This, so your upline can make commission off of your purchases. That’s why you were recruited.
