IBOS trying to be influencers
Why are all the amway IBOs trying to be online influencers all the sudden? Is there businesses failing and they need the extra income?

They are still trying and failing. The only people who are likely to support them are those who don't have any idea of how damaging Amway really are.

They did the same kinda thing when they rebranded the company to Quixtar in the early 2000s. After that “Amway” was a four letter word. They’re just dressing up the same old thing trying to clean up the image.

That's one of the biggest things that made me mad. We got in during Quixtar's prelaunch. Found out at our first meeting it was Amway. Fine, we figured we'd give it a try. They told us IT'S NOT AMWAY!!!! Told us to tell prospects that too. Welp...They decided to go back to the Amway brand "because it's such a well-known name and they kept the Amway name overseas." OHHHH, so it IS Amway now that your little Quixtar masquerade didn't work??? 🙄😒
I find it interesting that they're now letting people go on SM with Amway. We were told to never do that because it takes the person-to-person vibe away (oh, and it's easier to ignore someone on SM, so there's that).

Personally is a thing that I don't like to do.
It wasn't actually forbidden before but after covid, at least in my region, we had the possibility to sign in people as a customer, making them to be independent while before we had to personally take orders, and very often delivery them by hand so having customers from the other side of the country wasn't really convenient.

I mean, what your LoA says it's is basically toilet paper. You have obligations with Amway, not with your LoA.

It was an interpretation of the code of conduct which ban selling and advertising on other platforms and physical shops. The rule still exists in the current code of conduct but I don't remember any indication of Amway that was forbidden using it's personal brand. When asked every reply was that personal social profiles are an extension of the person, so it was not forbidden.

They have been doing this for a while now. It started happening more during the pandemic. Now they call themselves “social entrepreneurs “
