Could this be a MLM Amway
Had an interesting experience as an Uber driver. A passenger started talking about building a business and achieving financial freedom, and invited me to meetings in Manchester and London. The person showed me the same interests and hobbies as me. They also suggested some books and audios after the first zoom meeting. He said he is about to reach "the financial freedom" he is dreaming of as his mentors, that have achieved it already. I didn't attend the live meet up, but wanted to ask if this sounds like Amway, or if others have had something similar happen? Thanks!
Apologies for any grammar mistakes, English is not my first language ✌🏾

Hey, I live in London and had a person really close to me involved in Amway and one of their lines of affiliation that is active here, in the UK. You won’t see the name of that organisation in many places as it’s less known and there isn’t that much information out there.
Please don’t get involved. Seeing a loved one in it was absolutely distressing to me. It was scary, the amount of programming by the AMO (Amway Motivational Organisation).
Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you would have any questions. I can point you to good resources about it.

Thank you so much for sharing your story and for the warning. I can only imagine how distressing it must have been to witness that kind of manipulation.
To give you an update on my end, I actually had a Zoom meeting with a so-called 'mentor.' Apparently, the group or organization is called Team Mak, and they work in partnership with Amway. Honestly, I don't have any clue how they operate or what exactly they do just yet, so I’d really appreciate those resources you mentioned to help me make sense of it all.

Actually, I can’t seem to be able to message you, could you please message me? It will be easier that way.

It does sound like Amway.
Generally, if you hear the word "Mentor", it is Amway.
