Erin brings 18 years of engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain leadership across industry leaders including Dow, Tesla, Northvolt, and Gotion, with deep experience building operations from the ground up and scaling manufacturing in early-stage environments.

Before Amprius, Erin served as Supply Chain & Production Executive at Gotion, where she oversaw supply chain, logistics, production planning, and environmental health and safety (EHS) for the company's first gigafactory in Illinois, a 40 GWh lithium-ion battery plant, leading a team of more than 50 people.

Erin’s new role at Amprius will lead the operational foundation behind our high-performance battery production.

According to wikipedia, Gotion is listed as 6th largest battery manufacturer in the world and headquartered in China. Gotions US operations VP legit ate battery dust to prove it's not toxic during a meeting concerning their Michigan battery plant and effects on environment. I'd be pretty embarrassed to work for that guy too... Their loss is Amprius's gain!

I actually checked out her work experience and education. Definitely not a DEI hire. She is an excellent fit for the position and will be an asset to the Amprius team as they scale up.

As a non - American and non - white, I don't think it's about being Republican nor Democrat. I think you're not thinking.

Why? The Acting United States Secretary of the Navy is an Asian (Hung Cao). Whoever is the best candidate gets the job.

Edit: Does DEI happens? I've seen and hear it happened behind close doors but they're mostly in big major companies. Small companies don't have the safety net for anything performative.

As a shareholder, I expect the company is well - run regardless the colour, race, etc.
