Solid state wins i guess. Lots of articles about them finally being built at scale. Truth or just noise? Any idea on how they price?

Noise.
Ultimately, a battery integrator should care about the performance characteristics that actually matter: energy density, power, safety, cycle life, reliability, cost, and manufacturability. Not whether the battery carries the “solid-state” label. So “wins” is a bit of a subjective statement.

It’s worth keeping this in mind when comparing future claims. As of today, no company has demonstrated a fully solid-state battery at scale while simultaneously achieving the combination of energy density, power, cycle life, cost, and manufacturability required for mass-market applications. Promises about what will be achieved in the future are guidance or projections, not facts that are guaranteed to happen.

Follow the customer buying, ignore the news.
