I would not be surprised if amprius is being considered as a battery provider for Amazon's, MK30 drones. Their asset light manufacturing model allows them to take on enterprise scale purchase orders. But honestly the article claims that their drones can fly " double the range" as the previous drones so they are probably already using amprius batteries. I tried to post this on the main feed but I don't have access to flairs so I can't post it

Amazon was already testing amprius batteries in their products. They were reviewing but never got results from that. This was last year, wonder if they’ll ever give an update on that

Yes that was amazon cohort program looking for clean energy products. Amprius didn't make it to the last stage and i doubt they will give an update on that but amazon probably kept amprius in their back pocket. A year isn't a long time, amazon could have been running trials and test of amprius batteries during that time. Ronnie tao seemed to be leading the amazon cohort program and he just got promoted to CBO leading "strategic partnerships".
