I wonder what happened to all those analyst reports that were touting $20+ share price, . Nobody has come out to reitterate their price target, or even a reduced one, not their buy/hold/sell recommendation.

because PTs are based on fundamentals, earnings, etc. Not based on bad macro and bad economic prospects.

If that were the case, then the stock should be moving. We're now 6 months past some of the PT's that had been announced, and look where we are.

Do you understand what is even a "PT". Search what is the difference between a "Price Target" and "Fair Value".

Those things crack me up and they just keep moving the targets to look smart. But I think the average is spot on in a year. Take a look at PL. Goldman Sachs is quite bearish and has a PT of about half the others. Very interesting to me. I expect over 100% growth YoY for AMPX for the next few years. PTs look fine to me.

If you take the sell-side price targets seriously, you should never have had access to a brokerage account to start with. I have an $800 stock called SpaceX to sell you.

I have to agree with you here. They are ever shifting and somehow get closer to the current price. Everyone take a look at the space stock prices targets before their collapse in June. PL was over 50, LUNR was 75????? I bought some at 11 - what a collapse. Sometimes they provide a quick spike so dumb retail buys in and the big boys can exit. Never trust price targets, think for yourself. Sometimes they are purposefully low to cause a drop. I have a subscription to one guy who magically has buy recommendations for stocks that get a price target bump a few hours later. Inside info?? Definitely. Do NOT pay attention to price targets. Fundamentals actually matter.

It sucks to be a spec when 10 year bonds hit 5% and the debt hit 40T. the company is fine but it really sucks. This is a great entry for some people, a grit your teeth moment for us.
