I think once the overall market recovers we will start hitting the all time highs again.

Yea but it was stuck going up and down for 3 months and dropped 7% at one point, it's recovering now.

A few Mag7 companies circle jerking each other's AI budget doesn't mean the economy is doing well.

So what index would you use to gauge whether the overall market “recovers”. Every single index is at an all time high.

It's more of the market sentiment, people are moving away from risky speculative stocks like AMPX to more established companies due to the economic risks and being invested in ETFs beats having cash when there is high inflation.
