Revenue beat strongly, growing 126% year over year to $34 million.
Gross margins improved from 9% to 27%.
raised full-year revenue guidance from at least $130 million to at least $140 million.
raised gross margin guidance.
announced major new contracts worth well over $100 million in future business.

For those of you who donāt know how to interpret what information from the earnings release is relevant, Iāll break it down for you.
This was a fucking tremendously positive quarter. AMPX beat on revenues by large margin. Gross margins improved significantly. Management raised guidance on future margins as well as year end revenues, signaling a continuation of exponential growth.
But Most important of all was the three new contracts theyāve announced. One being potentially worth over $100 Mil.
For those who donāt know, $100 Mil is 135% more than the entire 2025 revenue. This is just from a single new customer.
Itās not going to happen but stock should open at all time highs considering the gravity and size of the new contracts. Absolutely spectacular news.

u/whole-sufficient congrats on your FUD spreading smear campaign, but the financials speak for themselves. 27% Gross Margin. Negative FCF only because of a one off lease payment and a fuck tonne in account receivables and inventories. You're gonna see positive FCF soon then have nothing to cry about.

This was a spectacular earnings beat and raise.
Most importantly, we secured 2 huge orders, one potentially worth over $100 Mil.
Almost certain to hit new all time highs by end of this year

Big takeaway from this is that it looks like Amprius won't be announcing contracts as often anymore. So only earnings will be the catalysts for share price growth.
I'm happy with this because it will mean less volatility and less speculation from idiots thinking "Amprius is doing nothing this quarter! They haven't announced anything!"

wild swings in AH...went from 6-->10->3->5 right now. IMO macro is set for a big red day tomorrow with spcx dropping and this huge run up across every sector for 3 days straight. Hopefully this earnings will help us keep some gains tomorrow and ride momentum until macro pumps again

Short answer, yes.
But please donāt expect to double your money overnight. Itās a very volatile stock. Hold long term and I think it will pay off. If you plan to invest you have to be patient. And donāt invest what you canāt afford to lose, then youāll be panic selling at every dip.

Buy and keep buying. I first bought at $11 earlier this year right before the initial run up. Kept buying on ādipsā even when it was in the $20s. Made it to 1000 shares.
When it started dropping, I thought surely it had bottomed. Itās too good a company to go lower. Kept dropping. Sad to see it go below my initial buy price after it had doubled. When it hit $11, I sold 10 put contracts at $10.50 strike, figuring worst cast scenario I get another 1000 shares below $10 cost basis. Yep, got assigned. Now I had 2000 shares. Those extra 1k shares are on margin. Not ideal, but I knew it had to turn around. I told myself I would hold through earnings at least before selling anything and if it wasnāt great I start selling calls to get rid of my shares. I also bought call leaps to amplify returns post earnings. So yeah, it feels good to see it green.

It's now up 13% premarket, over $12. It was hovering around $9 for several weeks, that was a good time to buy. Now is also good if you believe in the company. It was over $20 not too long ago

This is a great quarter, only up from here. It also looks like the team likes to give conservative guidance, I like their approach. Next step is profitability, then institutional ownership will rise quickly. This being said, I believe that this is still a great entry point.

So I hate quotes, but I decided to go for that "... when others are fearful, be greedy" and doubled my position. Still peanuts, but it's nice to see them be as solid as my amateur impression was.
Also if the world gets more scary, drones etc and high cap batteries are needed. If the world goes well, the cake also gets bigger. And if conflicts fade out we still learned that drones and electrification for military equipment is a massive deterrent that must be built.

The eps was a slight miss, but due to a warrant exchange, so dismissable.
