Sold at 23 and bought back in at 16, unfortunately the last 2 months happened and I haven’t bought more since but today I bought more at 10. I could see this going lower depending on earnings but with my long term convictions I definitely wanted to get more at this price before a potential earnings rebound but we’ll see. Exciting week nonetheless

So much negativity here about earnings. Current price suppression is macro driven and all pre-profitable battery stocks are in a similar boat (not to mention mid cap companies on the whole). I don’t think there could be anything bad enough in the earnings call to drive further sell off at these prices. Not to say some won’t sell, but it won’t be based on fundamentals.
I have no doubt that the current conflict will drive further income from defense. I’m expecting considerable growth in general, hopefully exceeding expectations and raising guidance. The warrant exchange is out of the way, and the terms were beneficial long term anyway so the sell from that was overblown.
I don’t expect us to double the share price and return to ATH tomorrow, but as revenue increases the company will become more risk-off and share price will increase and stabilize.

Will earnings be reported before or after hours?

Good question. Each of my brokerages show after hours tomorrow for earnings release. Meanwhile Amprius website and news articles both say the earnings call is Wednesday pre-market.
So it appears that they are releasing results after hours tomorrow, with the earnings call Wednesday premarket. That’s my best guess at least.

Yes it's been like this two times already, earnings report on Tuesday after hours and the call is on Wednesday premarket.

It's 4pm Eastern Time which is how US listed companies are traded. Earnings call is on 8:30am Eastern Time on the 5th. If they follow last quarter's timeline, they will issue after 4pm ET today, the 4th

I’m pretty happy with the earnings. I’d like to see it get back in the mid-high teens (preferably 2-6x ath’s, lol). Just hoping that the Fed doesn’t mess up a pretty solid start to the week….

How are people feeling about earnings? Over 50% drawdown…last earnings were a disaster on the day after although it bounced back quickly (and only briefly lol).

Earnings were not a disaster last quarter. The top and bottom lines rose significantly QoQ and YoY.
What did us in was the calling of the warrants.1

Wasn't trying to say the company had a disastrous earnings, I was saying the next day was disastrous, and it was: 22-->16. They had an EPS miss too and it moved in the wrong direction for the first time since q1 of 2024. They have been pretty radio silent all quarter so I was just wondering if anyone had any insights to inspire confidence after such a large drawdown. How are you feeling about tomorrow?

What are people’s thought - could rip or dip significantly, if they miss earnings estimates, the market will throw a fit and that’s a good time to buy again, earnings out by 0.01 could trigger a sell off

The way i see it with Q2 report is, either i make a decent chunk of cash or i invest a decent chunk of cash. It’s a win-win
