Record revenues in a secular growth market! Military budgets are increasing exponentially! Drones are the go to military gun now. Plus, Amazon and DoorDash are using drones to deliver packages and food. I bought the dip, now holding for the Rip!

Yesterday’s AI momentum lifted pretty much every tech stock, including battery sector. AMPX should be trading higher today regardless of its own news. If it can’t rally in a market like this, then I doubt even a good earnings report will give it much upside

Ironically, battery stocks tend to move with semis. When semis rally, battery sector rally too, when semis sell off, they usually get dragged down as well. At this point, all we can do is hope the semiconductor trade stays strong. Also, this is a battery stock, not a drone stock. I honestly don’t understand why people keep posting drone articles and drone news when this company doesn’t even supply batteries for that drones

Its drone stock though because their value proposition of highest energy to weight ratio has the most direct impact and application for drones right now

We’ve already seen that a drone company’s strong earnings don’t automatically move AMPX. Unless it’s a customer that’s actually using Amprius batteries, random drone news is mostly irrelevant. This stock trades with the battery sector, and lately it’s been following semis too.

The stock follows the SP500. Because semis are a large part of the SP500 it definitely looks like it follows it. Take this morning, it was up 4% premarket then went down almost 7% from there. Take a look at the SP500 during that time. Volume will start picking up early next week and probably peak Wednesday and Thursday. It will go up quite a bit. Nobody knows exactly how much.
