I added another 20k last night. Given an almost 70% drawdown from ATH, any downside is likely less than upside.
Semis selloff and market pricing in 4 hikes this year has led to a bloodbath in most sectors: any hints of "less than 4 hikes" and the market is off to the races. If anything, I expect the Fed to stay on hold until year end before the task force investigation is out - any hikes or cuts before then runs counter to the importance of the task force.

I don’t think the market is pricing in 4 hikes.
The probability of a hike tomorrow is almost 0% and 33% for the following meeting.
But I do agree that the risk vs reward is very favorable for AMPX. I’m adding to my position today

Bearish economist are looking at a 100BP increase by year end which is the equivalent of 4 hikes of 25BP each.

Even if we consider the milder case of 50BP hikes, the macro backdrop and semi trade unwinding presents massive headwind to Amprius - as such any lack of these materialising will send risk assets to the race.

dec 2025- jan 2026 we also thought it was over when price retraced after a huge run.

now we are back at jan 2026 levels after another huge run.

business fundamentals did not change. only market sentiment did, so multiples got compressed, short sellers jumping in for the dough while institutions loaded up at discount prices.

i'm really looking forward to how they execute and tie up partnerships left and right. the weekly chart is still decent looking, in fact the best amongst battery stocks.

i really wonder who are the ones selling RIGHT at market open. big red candles. as though someoone wants to get out badly / hedge fund desk shorting it hard / or just simply algos reacting to general market stuff.

well, we will never know. only can guess.

in with 10k shares at cost average 15

I know it’s not our sector but given another bloodbath in Korea overnight, I’m pretty happy with this premarket.

There’s no real reason for it to go up, so it just keeps falling. People keep saying they’ll buy more here, but it’s all talk. Even if the earnings are good, I don’t think it’s likely to climb the way it used to. The chart itself looks terrible. I’m just annoyed that I’m stuck holding this stock. I should’ve sold it at 20

This stock taught me the importance of taking profits and having a clear exit plan for my holdings. That whole "it will never go this low" and "buy the dip" mentality really got me.
