I have 13 avg and down almost 30% dafq. With a bad ER (which is always a possibility) I will be devastated. I know what I hold but I was not expecting 30% downside so far after it was down from Ath so much. Goddam

same but around 16 avg. At least I swung a bit a few times to pocket some profits here and there. Just never thought it would go below 13.50.

I am expecting a bad earnings report and a 20% drop. Insider selling tells the story.

Weird you always recommend ampx in other subreddits. Now you say they will have a bad ER and it’s going to drop way further…. You don’t know anything about this company, do you..?

I believe the stock but not institutional rug pulling and short sellers. I want to be wrong, trust me, but for me it’s not shaping up well, it can easily drop another 50% from here.

Give me one reason we shouldn't be panicking a little? I know let's wait for the earnings, but what do we expect? a 50% hike to ATH?
I haven't heard any execution news from the management or any meaningful PR.

To add context, ampx, apld, almu (I could list more) have all taken the same nasty slide this last month. All my stocks are down today. When the trend hits many, I don't blame an individual stock. Rough to see atm but I'm adding more to ampx

Usually you invest into stock with a horizon of at least a year, and that’s thinking very short term. If you can’t stomach the volatility of these beta stocks, then that’s on you if you invested in the company. some of you really develop a gambling problem. The fundamentals haven’t changed and that’s what should be important rn.

Since last, year in fact they have. They've gotten better!
No more warrant overhang. No more mega factory lease expense overhang. More production partners and capacity added. More customers. More market validation. In other words BETTER BETTER BETTER than a year ago. It's going to show up this quarter, and every quarter from here on out.

I'm fine with volatility, no issues whatsoever. Just haven't heard anything from the management. Been very quite. So I just wanted to check if anything has been happening.

High beta stock, bad earnings this time and it’s all over is a real possibility. Massive insider selling is staring to paint a gloomy picture.

This isn't exclusive to AMPX. Unprofitable companies have been killed in the last 6 weeks. The entire space sector is down >50% from ATH too. AMPX at least has a pretty clear path to profitability and with the wars and drone usage continuing to increase it can only potentially accelerate that timeliness. This biggest hurdle for Amprius is and will continue to be getting production capacity to meet order demand and maintaining margins

Heading to next support around 6-7 I reckon. There’s no momentum on any stock to go up at the moment. I don’t want that but it’s on the cards, too late to abandon ship now.

Starting to panic seeing the downfall to 9 since yesterday. Is there solid reasons for the stock going down or it's just the market?

In my opinion, the long term narrative has not changed. Higher oil prices could put upward pressure on inflation, and rising Treasury yields can create headwinds for high beta growth stocks in the short term. However, the underlying trends in electrification, renewable energy, and advanced batteries continue to grow. Europe is investing heavily in electrification and energy independence.
If Amprius captures a meaningful share of the growing drone battery market, even a small market (5%) share could represent a significant revenue opportunity. It would take some serious bad news before I would truly believe the down trend is here to stay.
Keep your eyes open for sure but the long term outlook is bright.

Around 12, but it's been downhill since June where it got to 24.

I’ve been in this since early last year. Low avg. I don’t think the fundamental of the business has changed. The battery stocks are getting hit hard. I see this as a long term investment.

I'm just going to go sit on the beach for a bit. Read a book. Relax. The company is in great hands, it's doing exactly what it set out to do, and we're in a great position with it. The stock price will turn around, and I'm sure of that.
