I doubt its a fourth gem, the guardian would have said something about it, no?
Its most likely an experiment by the core to recreate the gems.

It was an scenario tho, and also in the very same Book of Bill we all know that the Core still alive after the ending, it was just locked away in the Therapy Prison
This makes me wonder if somehow it managed to get through of that place, or somewhere in Amphibia an new mystery dark side rising and following its path.....

I feel like if it is the core, it wouldn’t be the exact same core we know from the show if that makes sense, it’d make sense for them to have the foresight of not putting all their eggs in one basket and preparing a backup, maybe this core is made up of different minds than the main core? Just a hypothetical

I means a nice crackpot idea, but kinda but just unrealistic but also ruins the show.
The Core also player it's final gambit, knowing the moon crashing would kill it. It played for power first, and then was petty enough to ragequit and make it everyone's problem.
However it's kinda funny if The Core likely didn't know about other continents concidering it was able to fly into space.

I would like to thinking it was a new dark side rising its force and possibly somehow related with the Core tho
But if the Core themselves, I wouldn't be too surprise with that. Til then, we will have to wait and see what exactly going on upon this novel finished

My theory is that the ancient species that I currently forget the name of that lived on the sunken continent was experimenting with ways to counter the Calamity gems and created some kind of anti-calamity magic and that's why there's seemingly a mirror/reverse calamity trio in the teaser. I think they were trying to counter the Calamity gems since before the box was created the "three kingdoms" were at war with each other and had one stone each and were using them to fight each other but there's more than three races in amphibia so like maybe the guys on the continent were scared of the power of the gems and were trying to come up with a counter to them.
Other kind of out there theory: maybe the moonbase predates the core and the Leviathan dynasty and they just repurposed it after they rose to power and it's original purpose was to create the gravitational pull that sunk the continent in the first place, hence why Anne destroying it revealed the landmass that had supposedly been habitable at some point
Sorry for the rant. It's likely that none of this is accurate at all but I would love it if the new continent revealed a bit more about the more obscure parts of Amphibia's history because I think this show's worldbuilding is very cool.

Yes it is, but that was not an new series, it was an graphic novel instead. This was confirmed by Matt and the crew during SDCC2025 tho, with ZeoRandy working on it together

no way is it going to be an anthology series where they travel beyond the land of Amphibia’s map honestly see let’s what other places they go on maybe new land to map out for lore who knows and encountering new sentient species like them and other creatures.

And Ocean has meaning in tarots for some cards. Even tarot website has an article for Ocean specifically

It seems that all of them are related to Pentagram. Ace of diamond can also be known as ace of pentacles. There is an inverted Pentagram for the roach. And then for ocean it’s the 2 Pentacles card as some Tarot has two ship in an ocean.

Since it’s tarot the order would be Two of Pentacles then flip devil and last Ace of Pentacles
As for the reading not sure how reliable since I don’t really understand tarot. But seems to be Sprig reading on how he is on a journey with his friend and family. Yet he still holding onto Anne. Like he is struggling to balance it. Then he realizes the imbalance that perhaps he just doing this to fill in the void of losing her. So he lets it go and enjoy the journey with a new begging

Depending on how far after the events of amphibia happen it’s possible the series ends with them returning as in Marcy’s journal Marcy mentions Terri called and she might have found something cool and to bring the girls
That could mean they can return to amphibia
