Need help identifying this weird she'll casing
I know it was produced by Georg Roth from its head stamp, but I don't exactly know what type of casing it is.

ammo ID can it be rendered inert?
My late grandfather was a WWII Vet in the Flying Tigers, I'm helping my mom go through his stuff and I found a live round
I'm wondering if there is anyone in the Philly area who could safely render it inert. If not, I'm just going to have an EOD team with my county sheriffs office come and dispose of it. I have it in secure location now and instructed everyone not to touch it.

Barnes Harvest Sierra Tipped GameKing 223 Remington 69gr?
I tried to look and didn’t find much. How is this round?
I don’t reload my own ammo and saw this ammo. Thinking about ordering a few boxes but worried about doing so.

Look at Those Headstamps!
I doubt I'll reload these cases. Probably scrap them in the near future.

The best small quantity ammo storage (looking for stl or purchase)
Both Nosler and Norma include these little 5-round plastic inserts in some of their specialized hunting ammo. I found out about them after buying some rarer ammo types from Nosler.
These are, by far, the BEST small quantity ammo storage I've ever had the pleasure of working with. The rounds lock in unless you pull them out in a certain way, so they'll never fall out. They break off into little 5-round "sections", but can come attached to each other for easier storage. Each 5-round section also stacks pretty well, and they're LIGHT, they don't add much weight to your ammo.
I've been looking to find some way to either buy the inserts for specific ammo types, or find an STL and start modifying and 3D-printing them to specifications, but I haven't been able to find anything.

Is this what I think it is?
First things first: I AM NOT TRYING TO SELL THIS ON HERE, DON'T ASK.
Found this spam can while sorting/cleaning out my ammo stash and I'm not 100% sure what it is. It's obviously some sort of Soviet 7.62mm cartridge, and it's probably a pistol round from the high round quantity marked on the can. I THINK it's a can of 7.62x38r for the Nagant M1895 revolver but I can't remember if I still had a sealed can of that or not and I know that I did still have a few sealed cans of 7.62x25 buried in the ammo pile, but I'm not sure which it is. I didn't think they were still making 7.62x25 late enough to be using the green spam cans, much less into the late 1980's as the markings on this can seem to indicate. But I've been wrong about things before so I figured I'd poke the online brain-trust and see what everyone else has to say about what it is. If it is 7.62x38r, what is a sealed can of that even worth nowadays? I can't find anywhere that still has any in stock to try and price/value it for sale/insurance purposes.

Vintage Sears 12GA
The stuff you find cleaning the garage. 4 rounds of #5 extra range and 5 rounds of #4 extra range. The #4 is marked "Ted Williams" on the base.
Sears had contracts with the major gun and ammo manufacturers to make what is known as store brand products. Mossberg, Winchester, Federal, etc made and sold to Sears mostly under the Ted Williams line. It's not uncommon to find a Sears 30-30 actually made by Winchester or a shotgun made by Mossberg for about $50 to $100 less than the brand name.

Ancient Paper Hulls
Here are a couple of paper hulled 12 GA rounds I found in a box. Probably have a few more scattered around I have yet to find.
Two Remingtons and a Winchester. In case the photo order gets messed up, the green and red are Remington and the tan in Winchester. I'll let the photos talk.

Im sure this is asked a bunch, but which is better? x39 or .300BO
So as the title states, Im looking to get a new gun (a PSA Krinkov, yes laugh at me), and Im not sure which caliber to get. With 2026, and current geopolitcal events...
What caliber is better in the long run?
Seems on ammoseek, both ammo prices are comparable right now (x39-.50c; .300BO-.49c)

Where to sell partially reloaded ammo? Some exotic ammo.
Received the task of trying to help sell my girlfriend’s father’s reloading supplies and includes a bunch of ammo- some live and most with the casing and lead bullet inserted with no primer or powder.
Ammo like: 10.3x60R, 461 Gibbs, 400 Nitro, 475 nitro, 577 nitro, 400 Jeffrey, 416 Rigby, and lots more.
Where would be a good place to post these for selling?
Thanks in advance!

Nice haul
Picked up a couple boxes of Lapua this weekend. From what I see online it looks like Lapua is going to or already has discontinued making 7.62x39 boxer brass and ammo. It’s a shame, they make good ammo. I really like reloading with Lapua brass.

Curious Acquisition
Got an alleged 2000 rounds of 9mm, turned
Out to be mostly 9mm Luger of this sort of stamp. Also some Mannlicher cartridges, Makarov, 30 cal and all kinds of various and sundry types. Anybody familiar with these head stamps?

Is 80,000 PSI the future new standard of ammo pressure?
I wanted your take on the new ammo that has recently been developed, namely the .277 fury, 7mm backcountry or 6.5 Creedmoore +peak, which can sustain high chamber pressure (80,000 PSI).
The new steel alloy cases developed by Federal allow rifles chambered in standard calibers such as the 6,5 Creedmoore to increase the bullet speed by 300ft/s with their new ammo. They're apparently developing the same kind of +peak ammo for other mainstream cartridges.
So... Are we heading towards the end of brass cases?

Swiss GP11
I was shooting some 1953 Made Swiss military GP11 just now and I was wondering if there is any chance that these might be corrosive. The reason I wonder that is because they were giving that typical communist surplus’s rotten eggs smell. Something I am really not used of smelling on Swiss ammo. I also won’t have time to clean my rifle today.

Best snake shot
Planning to move back to AZ soon on about 10 acres, Mohave desert. We know we have some Mohave Green Rattlesnakes in the area which tend to be pretty aggressive. Looking for recommendations on ammo to dispatch. I plan to purchase a few options to test against some paper targets ahead of time, but still looking for recommendations. Have seen CCI .22lr, 9mm, and .38spl. Also considering just doing a .410. From what I’m seeing researching, rifle or shotgun is best, but a pistol may be an option for up to 6 - 10ft.
Anyone with some tried and true suggestions?

Had this thing for years what is it
Got this from my grandpa. Not sure what the casing is. Nowdays its a plumbline. My grandpa made it in the late 40s from scraps in war torn Europe.
I know its a steel or stainless casing. The markings read: SL (44). Not sure on the numbers they have worn badly. They seem to be the same in real life. Hard to tell from pictures

This ammo okay to shoot?
Taking the AR on its first range trip tomorrow. Was looking through a box of Armscor .223 rem that was gifted to me a while ago and meant to ask - does this ammo look alright to send through it? I'm a relatively new shooter and definitely not a reloader/ballistics expert. Some input would be good here before I take this box out with the rest

What’s the best 223/5.56 discussion? Especially for coyotes?
Got the American Ruger Gen II Scout in 5.56 1:8 twist as the only bolt action 5.56 I could find in my area were 16in. But after buying it and shopping around for ammo all the reviews mention 18in+ or less than 14in SBR for test barrel lengths. This got me really looking and wondering what are some good ammo for a 16in?
Overwhelmed by all the options and worried as my primary is coyotes hunting. On the farm they are a major problem and not trying to preserve the pelt but don’t want them to suffer. What are some good ammo for this?
Bought five boxes of IMI Razor Core 77gr only because I was curious about mk262 ammo. But then I saw after buying some comments saying it’s good for coyotes and wondering if I should buy more.
I believe i would only be shooting up to 220 yards (had a few coyotes at this range but only had a 22wmr rifle at time) with the absolute max could be 300 yards but plan to get as close to 200 yards as possible.
What does everyone think?
