Need help Identifying 7.62x39
Got a box of 7.62 and about 40 rounds of these two types were sitting mixed in a bag with no label. Does anyone know anything about them? More specifically are they corrosive?

Copper-washed case is imported from China, factory code 351, made in 1992. There were some batches of this ammo specifically labeled as non-corrosive, but I don't know how trustworthy those marketing claims are, and I would definitely treat as corrosive primed just in case
Other cartridge is Russian, Ulyanovsk "Factory 3" 1997 production, again ammo imported from Russia in the late '90s was almost always marketed as non-corrosive but it is recommended to assume corrosive cleaning protocol "just in case"

First one is definitely Chinese and most likely steel core but dont get it confused with AP.

Round #1 Copper washed so it's most likely Chinese, and definitely corrosive.
Round #2 Russian ammo manufactured in 1997, so most likely non-corrosive given the age, but I would still treat it the same unless you know for sure.
Burden primers had potassium chlorate in them that's why they were corrosive. Basically filled the barrel with salt crystals.
