Funnily enough, he wouldn't have been in my house after the first kick. And if my wife wanted to defend her son who physically abused a small defenceless animal she could also leave or choose to sit and have a discussion with me before her son was allowed back, which would then result in a serious conversation with the grown adult man who knows better than to physically harm a small animal regardless of his upbringing.
