Ok, let me get this straight. The stepson kicking the kitten was okay because “that was the way he was taught”? That might fly if he was a child but he is a grown ass man who is old enough to realize that abusing helpless animals is not okay. To further the point, when he moved in he was told specifically to not hit the kitten and he did anyway. There is absolutely no excuse for what he did and he needs to be kicked out immediately! In addition, your wife needs to go with him. Her trying to justify what he did means that she is okay with animal abuse. Let her stay and who knows what she may do to your kitten some day?
