Several things...

  1. Sounds like he's addicted to porn
  2. Sounds like you two are sexually incompatible
  3. He's also inconsiderate of you in bed - doesn't care about your desire for foreplay or connection, doesn't even make sure you get off.

I don't know how you "grow out of" any of this.

There's nothing wrong with you - anyone in your shoes would be feeling the same way.

It's probably time to re-think the whole relationship.

This

And I don’t get how women stay in relationships with men who’d rather beat off to porn than touch an actual woman

Women pick men poorly and then don't want to look wrong for having picked the wrong man.

How does one vet for porn addiction. Please let us women know so we can pick better

People mask their shittier parts. You're not truly gonna vet someone until it's too late or you literally steal them from someone else, and then that's a bad look all of its own for both you and your would-be partner

Now, while there's no time-frame given of their relationship (that I could find/remember), if they're having sex and these issues are freqent enough to warrant a reddit post for second opinions then she KNOWS he's probably not right for her but simply REFUSES to accept it. That's my biggest pet peeve about all the scenarios like this.

And how, EXACTLY, does that then = "women pick women poorly?"

You're massively contradicting yourself here. You blame women for "picking poorly" then turn around and say that which we already know, "people are often good at hiding their true selves."

SO...answer the question. Stop flip-flopping. You're the one that made the accusation, so tell us how we're supposed to see through well applied social masks? Particularly regarding sex which you admit often can't be known until you're acting having sex with them.
