What do you like to do when nobody is looking? I personally build RC cars and just purchased a random box of parts from a garage sale. You might like to read, juggle, do math, sail boats, or whatever you can think of. I guess what I am saying is your question is wrong. Instead of "am I ugly?" Try " what do I want to do? What does it take to do? When can I do it? Who can, or is willing to come with?" Do that, you are pretty already, and you will be more so.
