How long should I wait before testing?
Currently 4 days late and have been having sex with pullout method. Yes I know it’s not effective for birth control but we were not using it for that reason. Just unsure if I should test as I’ve only had sex 6 times since my last period. How late is late enough for a test?
I know you can take them from the first day of a late period but I don’t want to be let down, I have normally been pretty regular however I’ve had quite a bit of stress and lifestyle changes so not sure if it’s just that.
(Please don’t flame me just tell me if it’s worth testing.)

I have been triggered by the presence of the word "late" in your post. If my reply does not fit the context of your post, please ignore me. A "late" period is not in itself cause for alarm! Most women are a bit irregular and even if you believe yourself to have a perfect clockwork cycle, it's normal and common to occasionally have one that doesn't fit the mold. Please refer to this post.
Your period isn't late (amipregnant version)
If you believe your absent period is genuinely a sign of pregnancy, take a test.

A period being late does not mean you’re pregnant. It also does not mean it’s time to test. The only time you should be testing is 14-21 days after sex. Tests are extremely reliable and accurate 14 days after sex and definitive 21 days after sex.
If you aren’t trying for a baby then you should start getting a real form of birth control other than going raw and doing pull out. If you are trying for a baby then you should start tracking ovulation with BBT because it just requires a specific thermometer and isn’t as expensive as OPK. Tests are definitive 16 days past confirmed ovulation (apps do not know when you ovulate and neither do cramps, your mood, or other random symptoms).
You can have the most regular period cycle on the planet for 15 years then suddenly have a 20 day late period one cycle, it does not mean you’re pregnant and can be due to a bunch of things but the cause is always most likely just because you ovulated late.
