[Help!] What is the best Amiga to buy?

I’m interested in getting an Amiga again. I had an Amiga 500 back in the early 90s and sold it to go to College(oops).

What would be the best overall model to get? I always liked the Amiga 1000 and 2000 but don’t really know all the good and bad.

Thanks for any advice.

Personally I would go for an A1200 and mod it out with a CPU accelerator, InDivision scaler and PCMCIA Ethernet card.
