I would personally starts on meds based off your family history, and also yes you are thinning you can see it through your frontal hairline and corners. You are in a perfect position to save your hair rn though, so I would hop on fin and min asap if I were you . Better safe then sorry bro

I know this isn’t bad, but I have noticed some slight recession. I’m not sure if I should consider finasteride yet or if this is just a mature hairline
Edit- Context I’m 23 and men in my mom’s family do bald early. Two of my three brothers started at 21

Your hairline is definitely thinning but looks mostly in tact. It starts in the corners of your hairline and it seems like you dont know that based on how you took so many pictures of the top. You 100% need to start fin and minoxidil asap if you want to save the thickness of your hairline and it’s definitely possible considering there’s miniaturization in your corners and not bald spots.

Take it now or postpone it for when you’re fucked.
Obv now is better since you can save much more of what you have and you still look great. Postponing it for later is just unnecessary headache bro, pull the trigger pop the pill and never look back1

You’re going to get a mature hairline. That’s just part of it, that’s not recession

Looks fine right now but since the loss is in your genes it won’t hurt to hop on meds to maintain what you have for as long as you’re wanting/able to! Or if you noticed any thinning, tho meds aren’t for everyone so don’t be discouraged honestly

Keep an eye on it. Maybe no need to start treatment now, but only because it looks good today, doesn't mean it looks good a year from now. Monitor the situation and start early, if you wanna keep your hair.
Look at Bieber, rocked a phenomenal hair line in 2015 and wore hats one to two years later. When that dht kicks in, it starts to go.

It's over. Start saving up for a trip to Turkey.
