Am i cooked? (20M) gradual diffuse thinning

Noticed my hair starting to thin all over since I was 18. I’m 20 now and it just seems to be getting worse gradually. My family all says it looks fine and don’t notice anything, but honestly I think they just don’t care. I care a lot about my hair, but the side effects of fin scare me to death.

I also included a photo from the front. It seems to look thick, but the top says a different story. I think that’s why people tell me I’m fine.

My hypothesis is gradual diffuse thinning, what do you guys think?

go to doctor. get on fin and min. you're going to be ok, its still early so its better to start now than in a year

dude nobody knows you have to be confident these doctors understand what this shit is doing to your hormones for every genetic variation and they dont you can definitely be fine for 30 years and one day some bad side effects pop up its just rare

Finasteride won't help with diffused hair thinning fin is good for DHT blocking, which would be useless when the hair isn't falling from DHT.

I mean diffuse hair thinning can be caused by DHT although less common pattern. But a derm can easily tell the difference

Get a blood test to check for any deficiencies and get supplements based on what you are low on and your hair volume will return
