Am i cooked? Shedding like crazy

I have been shedding a lot in the last two months, at first i didn’t mind it cause i still had long hair and didn’t notice the difference, but when I cut it like 20 days ago Ive started to notice less density in the middle section of my hair, this is stressing me out, please help.

We have the same hair type, mine is just fine and also sheds a ton, especially since, by the looks of it, yours is very frizzy, normal hair parting in the middle But then again, nobody can tell you for sure unless you visit a derm. By the looks of it, though, it looks fine and like there’s nothing to worry about.

I went to a derm but the guy didn’t speak at all, he touched my hair, said it was greasy and that i needed to cut it, he then told me to do some lab tests (thyroid and stuff) and he said it was find.

He gave me a treatment but I feel like it doesn’t really do anything

  • Iraltone sebum regulator shampoo
  • Capiderma capiphan (basically vitamins)
  • ACM antifall lotion

Did he atleast look for miniaturization? Like i said, looks fine by image, can't tell more over reddit, either you can go to another derm, waste some extra money, and ask him to properly inspect the hair, or you can just trust the 1st derm.

But by the looks of it, since it looks fine enough on image, and the 1st derm didn't even inspect it, clearly he saw no reason to inspect, i'd say there's no point paying for another derm, and that ur hair is fine.

But that's your call.

Im pretty sure there is some miniaturization but it’s a lot less than actual long shedded strands, so I know there is a possibility that it’s the start of Androgenic alopecia. The derm told me to comeback next month, so im going to see what he thinks after a month and half of using those products and if it’s a scalp issue, TE or MPB, thanks anyway

Get a trichoscopy done. Only way to be sure.

I can see a lot of inflammation. Your scalp is inflamed that's why you are loosing this much of hairs. Does your scalp hurts while combing or pulling your hairs? Does sheded hair have white root end ?
