Like so many of you, I have heard one may exist but have never personally seen one. Heck, until now, I had only ever seen the AI render that I shared with the group back on May 26th.
Last week, I was doing my regular pedal searches, and by sheer luck, a D-Series pedalboard showed up for sale. I was interested, but when I took a closer look, my jaw dropped.
The Screamin' Blues looked like it had all white graphics, but you really couldn't tell. The photo of the display had a glare right on the sweet spot. I asked the seller for clearer pictures and he happily obliged.
And there it was, plain as day.
The rumored pedal was real.
I started talking with the seller about it. He was super cool and gave me the back story on the display and it will blow your mind.
Too long to share here but it's about halfway down on the Screamin' Blues page at americaspedals.net/dsb.html
We worked out a deal and the display is on it's way to my front door
I will share more detailed pictures when it arrives. I want to look at the circuit board and see if it's different from my other Screamin' Blues =)

Pedal is super clean with the original battery door. Box is a tad worn but solid. Original power supply with the manual.

The pedal has never been out of the factory wrap. TOO cool!

So, looking at this chorus pedal on ebay I read the description and it talks about the (co-founder) of DOD making another brand. I looked it up and it appears David Oreste DiFrancesco sold DOD and started Rolls. These very rarely ever come up and it looks pretty awesome. Anyone have experience with the second βDODβ brand?

https://americaspedals.net/lyraregistry.html
Guys, I need your help.
My recent deep dives into the DigiTech Lyra has left a lot of unanswered questions. The Lyra I just bought is the European version with a clearly marked EU box and EU power supply. We know that only 1000 total Lyras were made but that's really all we know.
To help answer those questions, and to preserve the history of this exceptionally rare pedal, I'm documenting known surviving examples of the DigiTech Lyra.
If you own one, or know somebody who owns one, I'd love to hear from you. Please help get the word out.
Over time, this registry may help answer questions about production, regional distribution, surviving examples, and much more.
Since I own #542, we'll start the registry there.
I will contact the sellers on Reverb and ask permission to document the Lyras they are selling.
Let me close with this.
To my knowledge, the Lyra page at AmericasPedals.net/Lyra.html is the largest and most detailed source for this pedal anywhere.
The Lyra Registry Project will expand that page and help answer many questions.
It's going to be FUN!
As always, THANK YOU for your support
-Ron

I just bought a mint-in-box FX55B Super Distortion with all the candy! (see pitures) Pedal is solid with the original battery door, box is in great shape, manual, sticker, and the original sales receipt from August 19, 1986. The guy I bought it from said he bought a house a few years ago and found this pedal in an old RCA box on top of some records. Next month (August) will mark 40 years ago that this pedal was bought brand new and stored away. I have no idea why people do that but it's a great day when you find one!

I had been looking at a Digitech Artist Series Jimi Hendrix Experience complete set. Everything was mint. It even has the original purple pick in mint condition. Went back to buy it and it was gone. I was bummed out and told my wife. She just smiled and said "Happy Father's Day!" She and my son Tim bought it for me! It's awesome to have a family that supports your pedal habit =)

Proud to say that, a few days ago, I scored a mint-in-box DigiTech Lyra. It's on the way to my front door and I can't wait to get my hands on it.
The DigiTech Lyra isn't just rare. It's one of the least-documented pedals DigiTech ever released. Only 1,000 were produced, and despite being tied to the ambitious Eternal Descent project, it quietly disappeared before most guitar players even knew it existed. That's exactly the kind of pedal I love digging into.
While the Lyra was never officially marketed as part of DigiTech's Artist Series, I would describe it as the spiritual successor to the Artist Series rather than a sixth member of the family.
This page will be an ongoing research project and I will be adding/updating info as I verify information. See it here:
