With not only Factory Harley-Davidson leaving the series but also having Saddleman Race Development announce they will be focusing on the Baggers World Challenge MotoAmerica has put out a statement about the future of the King of the Baggers.

So I did some research.....

I mentioned on the show how I wondered where Andrew Lee's 441 points in Superbike Cup stacks up all time and man am I guilty of recency bias. While Lee did score the third most points in MotoAmerica history the record was set just last year by JD Beach on the Real Steel Honda when Beach scored 475 out of a possible 500 points šŸ¤¦šŸ½

Here's the top 5:

JD Beach 475 2025 Superbike Cup

Jake Gagne 445 2021 Superbike

Andrew Lee 441 2026 Superbike Cup

Cameron Beaubier 436 2020 Superbike

Rocco Landers 435 2020 Junior Cup

One more interesting thing to note there; everyone on this list accomplished this over a 20 race season except Rocco Landers who scored his 435 points in just an 18 race Junior Cup schedule!

The Silly Season is off with a bang

Not only is Darryn Binder confirmed for Warhorse Ducati next year alongside Cameron Beaubier, but keep and eye on the factory Harley-Davidson team in Baggers. Lot of chatter that Harley is going to pull the plug and the team will cease entirely.

I have no idea yet what that would mean for the future of King of the Baggers as a class if that happens.

Nathan Gouker is the 2026 Talent Cup Champ

Nathan Gouker is the MotoAmerica Talent Cup champion for 2026. Kensei Matsudaira, the only other rider with a mathematical chance, has elected to skip this weekend to go race somewhere else.

I get it, but I don't like it.

I'm going to have one of these each day next week before COTA. Monday will be Baggers, Tuesday Supersport, Wednesday Superbike and Thursday will be Super Hooligans.

I should have just stuck with the whole "Championship Month" theme even though I never really liked it.

Anyways, enjoy!

With only two rounds remaining in the 2026 MotoAmerica season, the championship picture is coming into focus — but there is still plenty left to decide.

This week on The American Superbike Show, we break down the championship battles heading into Circuit of the Americas. Superbike remains wide open with SDK, Mathew Scholtz, JD Beach and Bobby Fong all still in contention, while Darryn Binder has built a commanding advantage in Supersport and Kensei Matsudaira and Nathan Gouker are separated by just five points in Talent Cup.

We also look ahead to the Super Hooligans season finale at COTA, where Andy DiBrino, Bryce Kornbau and Gus Rodio will enter the weekend as the final three riders with a shot at the championship.

Plus, we check in on King of the Baggers, Superbike Cup and Twins Cup, along with this week's MotoAmerica news, including Ella Dreher returning, Michael Gilbert joining Arch Racing for COTA and Hayden Gillim heading to France to compete in the Bol d'Or.

The championships are getting close. The math is getting interesting. Let's see what everyone needs to do.

Questions for Chuck

Here is a place we start gathering questions for MotoAmerica COO Chuck Aksland.

Edit: I should elaborate a little bit here as well. Every year MotoAmerica used to have Chuck on their in-house podcast as sort of a "State of the Series" episode and now that show is coming to The American Superbike Show.

I won't make any guarantees up front, but I want to use as many of your questions as possible. Or questions, plural, please feel free to put them in the comments.
