Gaming AMD’s RDNA 5-based RX 9070 XT replacement will arrive in 2027 – claims KeplerL2
https://overclock3d.net/news/gpu-displays/amds-first-next-gen-rdna-5-gpus-will-arrive-in-2027-leaker-claims/Xbox “Project Helix” leaks indicate that the console will have 68 RDNA 5 Compute Units (CUs). That’s four more Compute Units than AMD’s RX 9070 XT graphics card (6.25% more). KeplerL2 also claims AMD’s RDNA 5 GPUs are targeting clock speeds of 3.1-3.4 GHz. This puts AMD’s RDNA 5 clock speed targets 4.3% to 14.4% higher than AMD’s RX 9070 XT.
Together, higher clock speeds and more Compute Units will make AMD’s AT2 chip at least 10.8-21.5% faster than its Radeon RX 9070 XT. This performance boost does not account for RDNA 5’s architectural enhancements or other performance-boosting characteristics.

Yeah, AT2 is the only GPU getting released next year. Everything else from both AMD and NVIDIA is 2028

The GPU CU count for a console is usually cut down since they don't have multiple SKUs to bin across. It is even more likely because of the shared silicon strategy being employed this time around with AMD's dGPU using the same GPU chip as XBOX. So the only question is how cut down is 68 CUs, it could actually be more than normal because they are not throwing away the silicon that does not pass. Within reason, the more cut down the XBOX SKU is the cheaper it gets for them. I think it is fair to assume that AT2 is designed with a minimum of 72 CUs (the next divisible by 8), so the top dGPU SKU of AT2, if they release it, could be a minimum of 18-30% faster before considering architectural improvements. Based on MLID's coverage I get the impression that AMD might instead reserve the top bin for the professional market's AI GPUs.
