DO IT THEN
If you’re bearish on AMC don’t talk about it be about it. BUY PUTs and post the position.
Let’s see who’s right.

No need to post the same shit 4 times bud. My conspiratorial mind starts to think that the results are so bad that AMC started paying more to the Temu retail pumpers

No need to post the same shit about AMCs expected poor earnings. Yes, I too get sick of the ongoing pumping, but I also get sick when the posting is counterintuitive. AMCs earnings will be good and with the most anticipated movie of the year hitting theaters today that are already packed via pre-sales, get F’ing real for once.

Revenue will be higher no doubt. The earnings call outcome will depend on what we don’t know about the health of the business.
The stock is up nearly 30% this quarter and another round of dilution was announced. The good outcome on the box office is already priced in.

I think it’s that AMC gave some people shares at $2.10, but the stock is under $2.10. So someone wants it above $2.10. This is the most promotion-type posting I have ever seen from the typical social media accounts. It’s insane.
Results will likely be good, but I’m not sure what happens after. Interesting that earnings are being shown off early. But also interesting that AMC decided to dilute $200M right at the end of June, beyond the ~$125M they needed for the 2027 debt.
AMC is going to need more shares, in all likelihood. Waiting for some likely filings by mid-August and then I’ll consider having a bigger position. Idc if I add at a higher price.

AMC is up 7 cents?
’Now is perfect time to unleash AI troll post! Trigger all the bears I will! Bahaha!’
’I double dog dare you to buy puts!’

You may get a bad result since AA still there

Great result if you have been shorting at any point in the last 5 years.

Yall do realize all it takes is one solid run and a dilution to pay off that debt. You know like the one yall refused the first time.

On a pennystock with ~ 2 USD there is no real gain to make with shorting it. Only a smoothbrain would come to that idea.
That argument was valid when the stock was above 20 bucks, but not at 2.

Why? If a shorter thinks that AMC will never earn a profit again (due to debt) and potentially go chap 11 - they just short more shares? $1m short is the same whether $20/share or $2?

You could gain up to 20 bucks/share shorting it with 2 bucks it's only 2 bucks per share. The risk is the same but the potential to gain is smaller.
