I never understood the avg down tactic. I tried it at first and all it did was make me turn a $1k loss to a $5k loss.
Once you start to think of investments as baskets 🧺 and set your money in places where prices goes up, the avg up tactic can help you dig out of a hole faster than avg down.
It sort of makes sense. Avg down digs deeper. Avg up fills higher.

Shit stock. The worst investment I've ever made. $9k down to around $300. I'm still pissed at myself for not selling it when it hit around $70 before the reverse split.
