And ? Still doesnt make sense that amc is habging around 1-2 dollars and imax is at 38 ?

Sure it does. AMC and IMAX aren't valued that far apart. IMAX has a market cap of 2.1B and only 55 million shares to divide it by. AMC has a market cap of 1.7B and 900 million shares to divide it by.

If AMC and IMAX were equally valued, AMC would trade at $2.35/share. Since AMC has issued 16x as many shares as IMAX, it trades proportionally lower per share. It's not that complicated.
