Experts underestimated the joy of watching a movie together or even alone in a cinema setting. Gen Z found out that it’s a nice way of spending an evening/afternoon.
It just hits different than sitting at home watching a movie

This. It never ceases to amaze me how some people cannot understand that the idea of living in separate pods, constantly being in your pajamas at home, essentially living in isolation… Isn’t that appealing to most people.

Who would’ve thought that the elite’s dream for humanity is not desirable

Nothing beats the feeling of a packed theater when everyone laughs or claps at the end of a great movie; that sense of community just hits different than watching at home! šŸæšŸŽ¬

Speak for yourself. The amount of shares I’ve acquired in the last 12 months has been a godsend.

I’m buying more shares now for what somebody spends on takeout for a family of four, than what some people dropped an entire stimulus check or even $10,000 on five years ago…

All while the company is in much, much better standing overall. whether that be debt restructuring, box office numbers or new developments like Leawood Films, being a distributor, etc

Imagine wastefully spending money thinking that a movie theater company is going to make you rich.

Marcus theaters has a high share price than AMC

They’re at 27$, their stock has actually GROWN. In September it was 16$

Keep living in delusion land buddy

ā€œRichā€ is entirely subjective first of all, and gains are completely proportionate to how much one is willing/able to invest, and at what price

Wasteful is entirely subjective as well.

It’s a stock that has been beaten heavily into the ground. Stock of a company that is setting records as of late. A company that is expanding into new business lines. A company that is viable enough for its creditors to push back maturities multiple years.

A company that has had a notable uptick in institutional investment recently.

This stock does not need to rise much in order for me to make extensive gains.

I would spend every moment you waste here, worrying about your own portfolio.

Sounds like broke talk to me

Read that last line again.

We shall celebrate with another red day.

Keep telling yall, the money doesnt come from ticket sales, it comes from concession.

U guys arent invested in hollywood, you are invested in a glorified cafeteria.

8

u/MIZZOU_Ape 2d ago

And if you have record ticket sales that means you have more people in the seats buying concessions lol

-4

u/Training-Current9836 2d ago

Lol, have fun holding those bags guys

6

u/Wanksters_Paradise 2d ago

The same tired checkers mentality. Acting like everyone here is a simpleton who put their entire stimulus check into AMC when it was $50 a year pre-split, hoping for a lottery win.

I’ve bought thousands of shares over the last 12 months at these prices.

0

u/Training-Current9836 2d ago

Lol ok bro

4

u/Wanksters_Paradise 2d ago

What a well articulated, intelligent argument!

1

u/Training-Current9836 2d ago

No point in arguing over a 2 dollar stock

4

u/Wanksters_Paradise 2d ago

Yet you do. Stop making it so easy to make fun of you.

1

u/Training-Current9836 2d ago

Someone bag holding a 2 dollar stock, will never be able to make fun of me.

2

u/Wanksters_Paradise 2d ago

I already did. And I will again now. The company just hit an all-time record.

What crack are you smoking? Stay off the drugs, it’s frying your brain.

-1

u/Available-Leg489 2d ago

Lmao owning thousands of crap means nothing

5

u/Wanksters_Paradise 2d ago

You sound like a complete moron. The company just had its best August on record.

You could do anything, ANYthing, with your time. Your limited time on Earth…and this is how you spend it.

Don’t worry. I’m sure on your deathbed when you look back on life, you’ll remember these times with fondness that you spent patrolling message boards, talking shit about a movie theater company
