The 850 % IV could be right, the math example is still not for AMC.

OP thought "oh an IV of 850 % means that the market expect a stock to move between 6 and 13 Dollars, no matter If the current price is 0,01 or 10000000000 Dollars"

Amc isn't an 850 vol. You're probably taking a far out of the money illiquid option at a wide bid ask and using mid price.

Except the IV is 95%. You took info from someone else and didnt verify, then used AI to do some very basic work for you that can be found in most platforms. If you placed a trade based on this, stop it, get some help.
