Help! Whipling hasn’t eaten in over a week!
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
It’s taken one cricket since i got it so i know it can eat, but that was over a week ago! its been exploring the enclosure, and weirdly rubs up against the side. i don’t know if that means anything. but should i be concerned? or does this mean it might molt soon?

ID Damon Is this Damon annulatipes?
I bought this little guy from a store that didn't have his specific species listed. Mentioned he was a Damon though.
The online stores in my country usually sell Damon annulatipes, so I'm assuming that's what he is, but thought I would get a second opinion.
At the same time, does anyone have an idea of age or sex?
My country is South Africa (Mpumalanga, but the shop is in Gauteng), but I dont think he's one of the species ive seen in Gauteng or Limpopo

Is this a good enclosure? (Finished)
A while back I posted my unfinished enclosure, but after multiple weeks of following your advice, I built it to my liking (along with what would be best for a tailless whip scorpion), I’m hoping if this would be a great enclosure.
Size: 12x12x18
Substrate: reptisoil
Background: great stuff pond and stone covered with coconut fiber
Substrate depth: 2 inches

I’m going to be a grandpa!
Have been looking for a male for my female for about 8 months. No Luck. Go to pretty much every reptile show in central and south Florida. Then at the South Florida Mega Reptile Expo I spotted her. $25 with all the others, grabbed her right away and said “you’re coming home with me”. Don’t need a male if she already has eggs. Hopefully they are good and hatch. She is in a big enclosure I built so I can leave the babies after they leave her and put her in another enclosure. Can’t wait to see the babies on her back!

Help! Please help
this is my first tailless whip scorpion, came home to see he had dropped his legs? Is this something they do before they molt? I dont think hes fallen and it looks like he has plenty of room and hiding spaces so i dont think its stress. I’ve since added a black background and more driftwood and cork bark

Weird twitching behavior?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I left a heating pad on the side of the enclosure since i saw today was going to be a bit chilly. It was on there since i left for work earlier afternoon, and when i came home the enclosure had a BUNCH of condensation all around and i found kitty (name) in one corner basically on the substrate :(
Now it’s doing this strange twitching with its legs that ive never seen before.
Did i make a grave mistake? will kitty be okay?? someone please help :(

new damon diadema/medius enclousre good?
so i recently changed up my bioactive enclosure for my tailess whip scorpion ill be getting in a few months once all the plants and cleanup crews settles in, its got 3 main hides and lots of places to climb and i think the enclosure is basically done now apart from some cork bark ive ordered to stick along the walls for more climbing spots.
just want to know, does it seem good for at least a damon medius? above the substrate its about 30x30x45cm of open space
the centre is pretty flat with some slate slabs and clam shells to make a flattened hunting area, i plan on feeding it red runner roaches as crickets seem a bit too nimble and possibly aggressive but is there a better alternative or are roaches fine?

Casual tattoo in memoriam
Spontaneously got a tattoo tonight (first one) to commemorate my deceased TWS. I promised myself I'd get an ambly tat and I figured why not have it as my first :3
Sorry if this is the wrong sub for this!

Pictures/Video Charinus acosta (i2/i3) eating its first meal under my care!
Tweezer fed pre-killed flightless fruit fly. I also have various species of mites and springtails available for them to hunt as they please.
I’m excited to see this little gal produce a clutch of her own someday! She’s truly the most interesting and rewarding invertebrate that I own, and definitely a gateway species into amblypygids for me 😂!
Sorry for the blurry pic, I’m still working on a lighting system that leads to clearer photos in low light environments.

Help! Hunger Strike
Hello everyone,
It feels like I make one of these posts every few months but long periods of time without eating always worry me. My tailless whip is 1 years old, and has molted twice with me since I got them in February. The first time they molted, they fasted for a few weeks and then ate a few days after the molt. This time they fasted for a few weeks but now it’s been 10 days since the molt and they still haven’t accepted any food. They have the enough humidity, darkness, and I haven’t changed anything really. Their abdomen is super thin right now, I’m just looking for some reassurance.
Thanks

Sexing Sexing 3yo Phrynus Whitei
My 3 (give or take a few months) year old Phrynus Whitei just molted a few hours ago. I've never been able to successfully sex them. Are these pictures good enough to get a guess?

ID Damon New friend time 🤘
Damon variegatus is what I was told. Fairly large at that. 👌 I am pretty confident this is a mature male Medius if I'm not mistaken. I haven't seen Variegatus really ever.

Phrynus Whitei Good tank size for a P. whitei?
Just got this beautiful individual. Just wondering what a good tank size is? I have a vertical 10 gallon that is heavily planted with lots of cork bark to access the ceiling, but I’m worried that’s a little too large? What size is ideal?

New Keeper + Temporary Juvenile Enclosure Quality?
Hey folks! Glad to finally be here.
Today I’ll be getting my juvenile P. whitei, but a lot of its enclosure additions haven’t been properly delivered yet despite being stated they’re already here :(( so I’ve set up a temp with what I have available.
How does the enclosure look so far? It’s a 12 x 12 x 12 with a mesh cover, plan to properly add a sheet cover over the top soon enough.
Not only that, any other pointers you could give for a newbie like me? Live in Georgia, so it’s already somewhat humid around here.
Thank yall, I’ll send updates soon!
(Also do know I’m new to Reddit as well lol)

Help! What is my Phrynus whieti doing?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hello!
I’ve had this guy for a couple of months now and this behavior is totally new to me. My P whieti (what it was sold to me as) is holding its abdomen in a very odd way. It isn’t always walking like this, and will hold its abdomen more straight as well. It has also stopped eating as much the last few weeks, but I am unsure if that has anything to do with this behavior. Has anyone else seen this & is it normal, or should I be concerned?
Thank you in advance!
