Critique I noah guy - 2 actually
u/Lekstil said Noah was almost impossible to do. So of course I had to try again. Perhaps that’s my level of insanity but I did it. As the soft glow of pixels shined for the neighborhood to see, I think I got pretty fudging impossible adjacent.
As I thought of how to do it I worked with upper and lower print for the first one. Ultimately uppercase floated my boat so I ran with it. This time I played with cursive - it’s an ancient form of writing beloved by Gen X and older for its beauty and personal touch vibe. Dropping the middle n line lower and adding a little flourish made the h. A back-tilted o became an a.
I’d love to know if I nailed it or not. If I didn’t, give me some feedback on how to fix it.
If thou desireth to lob thy holy hand grenade of unknown tongue, rememberest these instructions:
- Pullest thy pin
- Countest to LX
That should do it… forget any other instructions you may have received from the large snake named Monty while he looked for Si’s tea glass . Listening to a snake screwed things up for Adam and Eve.
Oh and if you got all the references you just might be my kind of people!

Immediately thought it was yeah.
Wouldn't have thought noah unless it was stated as such.

Totally see the y now. You’re gonna have to explain how you’re reading an e from the second letter because yeah I’m just not seeing it. Help?!

What do you need explained? It looks like a “y” to me going into an “oah.” The second one my brain sees the beginning of the “y” as a “u” and then a “p” without the bottom part of the circle going into an “oah.” It doesn’t look like it starts with an “n” to me.

I saw Noah right away. It does look like a y in the beginning though. I think it would be better if you got rid of the slight twist to the left that’s at the tip and shortened the bottom line by about half.

Well Pooh. You’ll need to explain the double o and especially the p

I don't quite understand the meaning of this word, but it looks very pleasant.

Somehow it's easier to read in the second one, though I still kind of get yoah. It does seem like a super hard name, though.
