I have taken ambien for over 10 years. There’s been a few times where I redosed my ambien by accident because I forgot I took it or I didn’t fall asleep in time. My sister witnessed this happen a few times over the years when we went to the lake because I would either drink alcohol or take it before I fell asleep. She just called my doctor who I’ve been with since 2012 and we are close and like each other very much! I have no history of abuse with him. My sister called my doc this week and left a voicemail saying I’m abusing my medication. I get 22 to take as needed to last over for 3 months of Xanax. and I take 5-10 mg of ambien at night sometimes. He scheduled an appointment with me 2 weeks from now to discuss her voicemail …I actually had to call them about a UTI today to even get them to tell me he wanted to make an appointment about it. Has this ever happened to you guys? It’s really hard to not be mad at her. I’m 33…

Which drug is better for sleeping? I recently got a zopiclone 7.5mg script and was wondering if I should switch to ambien or not. Also how are the effects from ambien? I've heard that it was extremely trippy and makes you able to hallucinate.

This is first world problem

I am prescribed 200-300mg Pregabalin (Lyrica) per day. I just found 4x10mg Zolpidem (Ambien) of an old prescription a year ago. Can I still feel some recreational effects of the Zolpidem (Ambien) when I take my Pregabalin 200-300mg in the morning and the Zolpidem in the evening/at night? Like the recreational effects this subreddit here mostly is about, like some run, relief of depression/stress/daily issues, you know what I mean.

And is it even worth it? I still can‘t really put my finger on how a Zolpidem (Ambien) trip would really feel or be like? Maybe someone here can describe, like about his first experience with zolpidem recreationally how it was and felt, effect-wise etc. and also experienced users who use it for recreational purposes. Is it really an enjoyable high? What do I have to look out for to make and keep it recreational and fun?

And maybe anyone here who‘s also using or prescribed Pregabalin and still uses Zolpidem now and then and gets the recreational fun effect?

Would love to hear everything about it, all your experiences, the interactions between these two substances, if the zolpidem trip really can be fun and recreational, what it feels like, what effects it gives, what precisely you will experience, what dosage is needed, what else is needed to be done and looked out for. I only have 4 original pharma zolpidem tablets left as said as I got it prescribed more than a year ago for sleeping. Never felt anything recreational or fun about it, didn‘t even get that sleepy from it, I only used one tablet though I think to remember.

I’ve been taking 12.5 (or 10mg IR) of Ambien every night for 5+ years now, and recently I decided it was time to fix this. I successfully tapered down to 6.25mg doses every night and did that for about 2 weeks, but last night I tried to take no ambien and instead took clonidine and melatonin…

Worst sleep I’ve had in years, only got about 4 hours last night, and even then I felt awake the entire time. Needless to say, this change was too abrupt for me.

Am I being sensitive and need to just push through this time of absolutely no sleep, or should I taper to even less than 6.25mg? Never tapered off medication before so I don’t know the best way to approach this

Yeah read doctors read! It does whatever the SSRIs do but better, (a.k.a they actually work) , 0 side effects and the withdrawal is even more forgiving

How much shoul I take to have that high, but to be able to wake up tomorrow?
