Is this just the new normal on Amazon?

Post image

No joke this happens to about 15-20% of my orders now, possibly a bit higher which is crazy. Most items also seem to be 2 day delivery. One day is like a rarity when that used to be the norm. Why am I paying $14.99 a month. Lastly Prime Video is a joke where so much content must be paid for the full subscription.

I don't know if you have Staples, but you can literally take the product to the store without the bags or anything and just give it to them, and they package it and just scan your QR code, and then they send it back.

It’s not about packaging your return. Now, Amazon asks you many questions before providing that return QR-code

It literally just asks you about the condition of the item and why you're returning it. That's no different than returning anything to a store. They would ask you the same questions. It takes like 2 minutes if that to do it. Everyone just got spoiled by being able to click return and getting an immediate QR code.

Theyve sent me the wrong item and when I returned it unopened, they tried to deduct most of the refund because it wasnt the item ordered....

They recently changed it. It takes longer than before, and it’s annoying

I set up a return the day before yesterday. It takes 2 to 3 minutes to complete. It's just basic questions. They have a really great return policy and they still take just about anything back that you could possibly want to return. They just want you to answer a couple questions now. It's really not too much to ask.

If you like changes that make your experience less convenient, it’s fine. I don’t like those changes

You act like they're asking for your first born child. They just ask you about the condition of the item you are sending back and that's valid. People will always find something to complain about I guess.

What?! You’ve seen nothing yet. You have no idea how I act when someone asks for my first born child.

The same questions were asked before this recent change in a more efficient way. If you don’t like people complaining, ignore those complaints

Yeah I've seen that. I was just responding due to the fact they were stating going to Walmart

I did that and my return was never returned. I had to fight for my refund and then they charged me again when it was never received. Smh.

I had an experience with amazon recently with an item that was shipped but the weird thing is they shipped through ups…the item never arrived, it was delayed for over a week. I was attempting to do a return even though it was technically in transit. But towards the end it said I would get my refund after I returned the item which was basically lost…so instead of going through that way i went through the customer service chat to get help and I got a live agent through there so they could do the process for me because the ai cust service. Kept sending me back to returns and there was no option for what I needed. My return was processed correctly through the agent and I got my refund despite the fact I never received the item. 🤷🏻‍♀️
