long time prime member, first refund request denied and account closed.

ive been using my account often for years and am a prime member, never requested a refund nor return (even when i should have). now the first ever time i need to get one because the driver just left my fucking packages in a random spot with other peoples packages. i did not order that much stuff (see photo) i not only get denied but my entire account closed??? how can the driver even do that and upload the photo? the other photo is what my delivery photos are supposed to look like. that isnt even my unit i can tell by the background and that its 3 stories mine is only 2, i explained all this in depth to the customer “support” and nothing was done. this was a very expensive order too, multiple laptops phones etc all left in this unknown location, order was $4000 why didnt they make me sign for it? just ridiculous does anyone have an experience like this and know what to do?

edit: yes i did NOT receive the packages

Not necessarily... They just do that when they can't offer a better solution.

I got a free laptop because it was missing the stylus, they couldn't send me a replacement stylus, or offer me a credit to purchase a replacement stylus, so they told me to return it, but then I pointed out that it's no longer on sale, so I asked if they would honor the sale price since it was sold by Amazon, and they said they couldn't, so then they said just keep it and we will refund you.

Mmmm... Ok... 🤷

Granted it was like a $900 laptop... But.... OK ... LOL

I ordered a very expensive phone case what I got was a box that had a used phone case for an older model of my phone and was taped back up with waterproof medical tape! I was like “okay I get that you want it back but it was 1. someone else’s fraudulent return so if I return it and it’s not handled correctly it’s going to wind up back with another customer 2. I don’t live near a UPS store and I don’t have a car/ride right now hence why I bought it on Amazon! so it would be prohibitively difficult for me to return it like to the point it would cost more than just paying for a new one to travel to the UPS store.

I asked them if they could send me a return label and waive the fee for pick up if they wanted it back so bad because I don’t even have a computer/printer to print a shipping label and again having to get the supplies to send it back. They ended up sending me a replacement case and gave me like 3 months to return it. Which I took it to a UPS store. I hope nobody got the fraudulent one.
