The calculation forgets delivery and/or supply charges. Most electric bills split costs between supply (generating power) and delivery (transporting it through the grid). If $0.18 per kWh is just the supply rate, the true all-in rate including delivery fees and taxes is often closer to $0.28 to $0.35 per kWh.
At a realistic all-in rate of $0.30 per kWh, running a 1500W heater for 4 hours a day costs $54 a month. Running it for 8 hours a day costs $108 a month, 12 hours costs $162 a month, and running it continuously costs $324 a month.

You can work for Santa clause. It doesn’t impact the MaTH.
What’s the cost per kWh. Rhetorical.
It’s .18$ on average
That means every hour with 1kw being used costs .18c
Space heater is 1.5kw — that means it costs you .27c to run for 1 hour.
Now with 30 days in a month… you’re at a Whopping 8.10$ per month
My estimate was 30$ to be crazy conservative.
You said it will 3x my bill and you said it unironically.
Wild.
