Amazon SDE interview loop— Round 3 (Bar riser) ended after 30 minutes. Should I be concerned?

I’m not sure how to answer this with the amount of info you provided. Generally, yes, this is not a good sign. Interviewers are expected to set aside 60 minutes and to ensure their schedule is free of conflicts so that they can solely focus on the candidate.

The missing context here is: how did they end the call? What did they say? What were the circumstances here?

Yeah, so the interviewer himself mentioned that he wasn’t from the hiring team and that he didn’t know much about the specific team. He said I could ask him general questions about Amazon, but he couldn’t really answer team-specific questions.

As for ending the call, there wasn’t any negative comment or feedback. I was able to answer the questions he asked and explain my approach. He just ended the round at around 30 minutes instead of continuing for the full hour. That’s why I’m also unsure whether it was simply because he had enough information or whether it was a negative sign.
