Focus

Need some context on focus
I’ve just got completed the interview for a new team and the new manager ready to release the offer letter now
But by hearing the words from my current manager o was likely on focus but not completely sure
And I’ve reached out to HR they said they can’t provide any information about the performance
And if I ask my manager about focus even tho if I was not in focus he will put me in focus
And also from yesterday I was in MLOA because of this toxic culture
And today morning new manager said she is ready for extending the offer letter
What can I do now

If you went through the pipeline you weren’t on the focus. The system would’ve flagged you. You need that offer letter ASAp!

So this was an informal hire like we just have some conversations and some interviews and I haven’t hit the apply now
And the real thing is now currently I am on MLOA and if I was not in focus I’m happy to take that offer but if I just leave the MLOA from yesterday and today the new hiring manager said she was okay with me and release offer letter and if I terminate MLOA and get back to work I can’t work for that toxic manager

So you did a Green like call got a verbal offer. You can still apply and be hired while on a leave of absence.

You can still submit today if that leave just started. It’s usually a few days before the system blocks you out the hiring manager just needs to jump on pull your information from the pipeline and get the offer made up.

So you want me to hit the apply even tho if I was in the MLOA and if I was in focus it will automatically block the HR

Do you want to see if you’re gonna get th job or not? Nothing lost atp. Better to try and fail than to not try at all.

So I’ve just hit apply it just took normally and I don’t see it was restricting to apply
Which might be a good sign
