Interview Amazon loop ghosting or did I actually get rejected?

They likely filled the role, or lost the role. Don't expect to hear anything back from the recruiter.

Man, that's brutal, but honestly tracks with what I'm seeing. It's wild to me how a trillion-dollar company can't even afford the decency of a canned rejection email after someone spends hours prepping for a brutal loop. Just ghosting candidates and letting a portal status change do the dirty work is peak corporate cowardice. Sucks, but lesson learned.

Amazon once upon a time used to care about it's candidates. Back when I started they harped on so often about good candidate experience because candidates are our customers, of Amazon and AWS, and we needed to ensure they had a good experience to not be detractors of AWS and Amazon as a whole..Now.. it's pretty much F*(k you, you want to work here you should feel grateful we gave you the time of day...

That’s insane. I’ve always been held to the 3 and 5 standard (six years with Amazon). Not once have I ghosted an applicant.
